I was born in Flatbush, the heart of Brooklyn, New York, to a couple of kids out of Manhattan's "Hell's Kitchen", whose idea of art lay somewhere between Saturday Evening Post Covers and calendar art.

I attended the Pratt Institute, an old and highly respected repository for aspiring Picasso's, studying painting under the tutelage of Edwin Dickenson, NA., Edgar Whitney, and Walter Klett.

Much later I discovered Greenwich House Pottery, located in Greenwich Village, NY, where I reside. I then spent seventeen sweaty years learning the art of sculpture, studying with the noted ceramicist Jane Hartsook, as well as Ann Richter, Peter Gourfain and Melissa Stern.

I've shown in Seattle, Sarasota and New York, and now on the internet.
